Protecting Critical Infrastructures
As a certified Minority Business Enterprise founded in 2002,
iCrescendo is committed to supporting its customers and protecting their
critical infrastructures. Thanks to CenterPoint Energy and its Supplier
Diversity Initiative, iCrescendo was given the opportunity to compete
and show its core competency in securing businesses with scalable
solutions. In the past year, the company helped CenterPoint Energy
roll out CyberLock in order to control access to its remote sites and
comply with NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection Standards ahead of
schedule.
Throughout the rollout, Dexter Hicks,
CenterPoint Energy Corporate security manager, experienced excellent customer support from iCrescendo. "[iCrescendo] stand[s] out among the
other vendors I deal with," he said. "They provide constant feedback
and always follow up phone conversations with a documented email that serves to help confirm understanding and record keeping." Employees at
iCrescendo continue to provide feedback in a positive manner on all of
Hicks' questions without prompting from him. "I am extremely pleased we
chose iCrescendo as our provider for the CyberLock project," Hicks
said.
Steve Dukes, Supplier Diversity Coordinator at CenterPoint Energy wrote, "iCrescendo won the Programmable Electronic Key and Lock System contract with CenterPoint Energy by their competitiveness and flexibility in representing a superior product." As a solution provider that specializes in physical and logical security, iCrescendo's mission is to help customers deploy scalable web-enabled access control and IP video surveillance. Its suite of products and services are designed to leverage IP convergence and to protect critical infrastructures, assets, information and people for virtually any business or organization.
